NMRCC 2013/2014 Comp #11 San Ysidro

SATURDAY, April 12th San Ysidro

Running 2.2s and 2.2p classes. 3 courses per class.

We will meet at the parking lot at 9:15. Head in around 9:30 and have everything setup and ready to go by 10:00.

I made this comp on a Saturday that way we wouldn't have to worry about time. If I remember correctly Saturdays make it easier for people to get family and kid coverage. Everyone is invited, and scalers are encouraged to come out! This is a great spot to crawl and scale.. Since on Saturday, I feel we can enjoy the time out there better.make sure you bing water and snacks.

The comp is changed to San Ysidro. This for multiple reasons..
- It is more accessible for everyone (an off-road vehicle isn't needed)
- We won't have to deal with the landowners and ranchers we might have had to when going out to the puerco. I don't know if there is still problems, but going to San Ysidro elimites any problems.
- No one was opposed to MAH's proposal to change locations.
We will set up courses in a different are this time, so it will be all new.
We will also have the key to the gate, so we can drive it.


Allen is donating prizes for a bonus course!!
Delrin beef tubes for sporty, a set of 7075 upper OR lower links for pro. So this means charge an extra battery!! Although you should have extras anyways because this place is addbass.. Thanks All24"thumbsup"

San Yasidro would work better for me because I get on call cell reception there and not at Puerco. 4WD is not required at San Yasidro. Its also a great place for scales. Anyone object?

As a club we try to accommodate for people as much as possible. But here was my planned schedule:

Comp #11 Rio Puerco
Comp #12 San Ysidro

If people rather do San Ysidro on the 12th (comp 11), that is fine. We will just have to come up with something different for the last comp in May.

okay so where do you guys meet in san ysidro, off 550? im just curious cuz i wanna come out but iv gotta come down from espanola and i can either go through the jemez or down i25 depending where you plan to meet

Take 550 through San Ysidro towards Farmington. There is a truck stop just outside of town, right after the truck stop is the parking lot. We will meet there.

The date was changed a while back. And now the location changed. I would like to keep it on Saturday. I feel for this location it is better. As always, the kiddo is welcome to come out. Hope you can make it"thumbsup"
