NOP Wrangler tuber home made #2

Inspiring by Poison spyder custom and Timber wolf RC4WD - thanks "thumbsup"
I have tried to build the wrangler #1 in 2008

Now, I am trying to build #2 with more DIY parts such as :
1. AXLE
- Housing Al 6061 manual lathe
- Gear 1/16 Traxxas slash locked
- Axial knuckle system (need to learn how make DIY kuckle)
2. Link 6mm solid Al with traxxas ball end
3. Drive shaft : Brass with 5mm hex wrench joint
4. Chasiss 6mm Al manual bending
5. Roll cage 6mm solid AL
7. Beadlock AL 6061 4 offset
8. YJ Grill from AL 0.2mm
9. Winch 3Kg Mico DC motor manual switch with AL 6061 case

Low budget parts :
1. 27T Tamiya super tune
2. HPI WK GRU 7.4 :1
3. Tansmision 1/16 taxxas slash
4. Traxxas shock
5. Radio Am 27Mhz 2 channel

Interior : from 1/10 Hurricane Jeep Toys

I know ..with these parts (read : electronics) we cant expect too much.
Anyway here we go... ;-)

What are the axle shafts made out of? Rear is cold rolled?
How did you get the CV ends on on the front axle shafts?

So far the gear work great, but the shock and linked stay need to improve
After some time found that the shock and link stay loose and broken off.
I make new model with more bolt

In this model I use Axial knuckle, dog bone and axial shaft to save our time, but next I plan to make using stainless steel and design new knuckle system. For rear the shaft made from stainless 5mm.

have time to go test, but got problem on the slash transmision gear..
