Hey folks,

trying to collect some people to possibly bring some scale action to the area. I'm around the south mountain area but willing to travel. would love to start a group or club so lets get together and start trailing. I'm Al been a backyard crawler for a few years with my scx1o rubi and recently a new wraith project underway. feel free to chime in or PM me. thanks

Me and my friend are in passaic county area.... without traveling far, its hard to find big enough places to enjoy....
Have you found any spots here in N. NJ?

I work in Passaic county, all I know of around that area is Garrett mountain. If you're willing to travel a few miles South Mountain Reservation is rather large. I'm going to look at a map and see if there's other areas.

It's a bit of a drive but I have Wawayanda state park in my backyard. There are tons of trails and it's easy to kill a few packs in the varying terrain.

I grew up in Nutley so Garret mountain is a good place. There is also Mills reservation in montclair, Eagle Rock in south orange and south mountain in SO as well.

I'm in Bergen county. I'm definitely up for traveling to finally meet up with a few people to crawl with. Just saw that Shadow Hobbies in Paterson set up a pretty good looking crawler course as well. They posted pics on this forum.

Yes it does, but I'm mostly comp crawling, not scale (not that there is a problem with scale). I haven't done much crawling the last couple years though.

I also live very close to Waywayanda and am about to buy my first Rock rig and new radio, charger and all the fun stuff. Have been into RC for many years. Have cars, trucks, heli's, planes, subs, boats and tanks....and not the cheap Radio Shack stuff. But, it's been years so my stuff is old tech. Didn't want to jump the gun and buy this new stuff yet till I found someplace/group to run with...no fun in doing it alone. Just drove to Track Time Racing. A little disappointed that there is no "group" associated there. They are great people though!

So I'm also looking for others interested in getting together up here and run the cars.

I'm from west Milford but I moved to Rutherford. not too many places near me that I know of except a lil park behind my house that Im trying to make track out of for my yeti but kids keep messing with it

Anyone looking to meet up and do some rock crawling and/or trails Bergen and Passaic County area. I'm about 15 mins away from Garret Mountain I go there a lot but open to other locations.
