Where is Grapevine? I will be coming up from Corpus. (Hopefully) I was definately gonna do sumthin in Oct, but I dont think I can wait. I am trying to convince the better half, that I "really need to go!" Is it in Dallas? Any hotels nearby? If I can come, I will leave Friday night, stay in hotel, then meet you guys in the morning.

I have a vidcam, not the greates, but it works pretty good.

Yup it's goin down September 4th so get ready!!! :D

Willyrocket, it'd be awesome if you can make it!!! We'll definitely try and make the trip worthwhile for ya! I got confirmation Texrok is gonna be there too, so with you it'd be 4 rigs! A few more from clodtalk said they might come depending on their situations but so far it'll be 3 confirmed!

Here's a link to Torquer's lhs called Mike's. I've never been there myself but I think this is it.....The address is there so maybe you can use google and get directions from your place to here.

And here's my lhs. The address is listed also. This one here is about 25min away from the Lake in Grapevine.

Oh here's a link to the lake. We'll be crawling at either Murrel park or Twin Coves Marina...they are right next door to each other. This might help give you an idea of the layout.

One possibility is I'm thinking you could meet us up here at one of our LHS's then you can follow us up to the lake.

I'll send you a pm with my contact info so we can talk about it more if ya want!

Re: North Texas Crawl… Sept. 4…UPDATED

Just got word we got 1 more crawler gonna be there! Jeepkevin is back!

Jeepkevin I'll give ya a call later today and give ya some directions! 8)

That makes 5 of us now! :D

Torquer's gonna try to hook us up with some tennis balls so we can get some rock courses laid out. If anyone else has some tennis balls feel free to bring em!

Not sure about having an actual comp but if ya'll are down I can bring a rulebook I found online. We can give it a shot see how it goes!

Here's a pic of the lake:

Murrell park and Twin Coves are E & D on the top right of the map. but here's a link also

The actual spot won't be determined till we get there tomorrow b/c we'll have to try to find an empty spot. Being that it's Labor Day weekend there may be more ppl than usual...but we'll see.

So charge those batteries, tighten up those wheels, vidcams and digicams are welcome, and don't forget your radio also!!!! (really blows when that happens! )

well Cman....i got my Pajero running again only i had to lower the suspension back down to stock height...still does well though.....next meet i should be there

although i wont be able to crawl what yalls trucks can lol but i can try.

also...im curious as to how yall re-charge your batteries? i know a battery only last like 20 minutes in my truck and yall surely stay longer then that....so do yall have like a portable generator or something to hook our chargers up to or do yall use each others real truck batteries?
