novak xxl rx wont power tp 995

dose anyone else have that problem hooked mine up the other day and it didnt work, thought it was the rx but i changed servos to a jr 8800 and it works fine! :-(

anyways dose anyone else have this problem before i go buy new servos. i would like to know if a 995 or 945 will work! im getting another novak xxl to run in my scaler since the one in the scaler is now in the comp truck, so i can run both my trucks of the same radio!"thumbsup"

it picks up a 645 so i think i might just get the 5645 for the scaler and keep the electronics in my comp truck for now!?

check your wires

Make sure that the wires for the tower servo are in the correct order. Try the servo in another vehicle. The ESC provides the power to the servo through the receiver, if you had the servo hooked up to the receiver with nothing else connected it will not work. I've got an XXL myself and you need to have the black wire from the servo on the outside of the plug, the white (signal) on the inside of the plug. Lemme know if this helps.

HEHE im not a stupid newb i know how it goes

and i had the servo powered by the same esc but a different rx and it worked fine swapped in the xxl and it dose not work:-(

I figured by the number of posts you have that you did know what you were doing, but we can all over look things from time to time. I don't know what to tell you if everything works with swapping out your Rx. I'm not particularly fond of the XXL myself, I only use it because it was the only one I had left not in a car.
