I wanna be Dave
Drove the little Nylint rig this morning in the backyard on the little course. It's crazy what happens when you don't drive any trucks on your little rock/dirt pile for a few weeks, things tend to grow fast
Anyway... After running a couple packs through the Nylint rig in it's stock form I found that I did need to soften up the ride to help flex. I have also noticed that some of that famous "Clod Stalling" effect can be seen on this rig. I've only heard gears grinding once out of the rear axle
1 - Cut about 3-4 rings from the springs at all corners.
2 - Added a RCCrawler.com sticker, adds 10hp from what I've read
3 - Learned that you have to feather the throttle in a on, off, on fashion to get it to run smooth'er.
Few pics from my small run, all driven, no poser shots:
I still need to remove the roll cage so I can paint it black to get a more realistic looking body/tub.
