I found some old scissors the other day, and I can't find anything online that look like them. If anyone knows about scissors or anything related to them, I could use some help. I know there Fremont Cutlery Co. brand, but as for a model name or number I can't find one. Here are some pix of them.

That's what my girl said, she has a Japanese pair that she used when she worked as a hair stylist. I just want to know the year they were made or a model number or something I can use to find the right screw in case I have to drill out the old one.

After soaking in white vinegar over night and a little elbow grease got them cleaned up.

Well, clicking this sent me down quite the rabbit hole. Apparently, around the turn of the century (the last one) Fremont, Ohio was like... the center of cutlery manufacture in the US. During the first half of the 20th century, Fremont was home to the Christy Company, Clauss Cutlery Company, Quikut, B.A.P. Manufacturing, the Ginsu Cutlery Line, and Herbrand tools. So it's likely those scissors were produced by Clauss, who at that time was the biggest scissor manufacturer in the world. Neat. \

A Google search of Herbrand Tools brings up some straight up Americana.

Thank you. I'll take a look at those brands and see if I can find my scissors amongst those.
