I wanna be Dave
I know I saw an advertisment someplace for old skool motorcycle kits... I'm talking 1920 style bikes... anyone happen to know any info??
The kikker's are the right style... the ones I'm thinking of were a little large motors so they could be street legal. kikker does have some nice looking bikes, could prolly put a little bigger motor in and register as a scooter.
Edit: they do have a 200cc and a 250 vtwin, betting those could be made street legal.
The Kikker can be street legal I know. My brother has one with a tag and insurance. Here 49cc and over makes it a motorcycle, under 49cc and you dont need a tag or ins, makes it a scooter. He has the biggest motor they offered on his. And it is fast for what it is! The frames are a little small but can be streched. And yes you can put Yamaha and Honda motors on them as well. The kikker's are the right style... the ones I'm thinking of were a little large motors so they could be street legal. kikker does have some nice looking bikes, could prolly put a little bigger motor in and register as a scooter.

Look up XS650Chopper.com they have the sickest metric bobbers you will ever see on that site! You can build a Yamaha into a nasty bobber for about $3k! Ive been helping a friend with his for a few months now.
Thanks a lot guys, now I'm obsessed with this bike...
Now I'm already on craigslist looking for a XS650...
Glad you're in KY.I have the same daily search on CL.
Asshole.You're giving away my secrets.:ror:
An xs650 is what I'm putting money aside for.Waiting for the right deal to come along.
Around here,$500 won't get you much.Alot of people have caught on and seem to think they are gold.Missed out on a '71 for $850 ealrlier today. It went REAL quick.
