One piece axle upgrade options?

I have the UMG10 kit with the one piece axles, and I am confused about the axle replacement options. Which ones would be a direct replacement upgrade? Vanquish? Xtraspeed? ssd?

Any SCX10.2 axle will work. I even consider going to the older multi-piece Axial axles from the SCX10.2 Cherokee an upgrade.

Any SCXII housings will work but you may need to buy c-hubs and link mounts, the Vanquish housings are true direct replacements as they integrate the c-hubs and link mounts like the stock housings.

Just wondering why you want to replace the axles so soon?

In my mind, the biggest reason to get rid of the 1-piece housings right away is to gain the ability to use aluminum c-hubs. I won't adopt a rig into my fleet if it can't run alum c-hubs & knuckles; having the ability to run alum lockouts on the rear is nice too but not as important to me. It really blows my mind that Axial went to molded c-hubs; that's a deal breaker for me - those axle housings have no place in my life..

The other reason I've encountered that pushes people into changing housings is to switch to a metal housing for the unsprung weight gain.

I'm not the OP but that's my unsolicited feedback..

Weight, looks mostly. Also planning on doing the heavy knuckle weights too. I don't know. I'll have the truck running today. I'll see what it needs.
