What type of crawler is the best?
Are normal comp rules to restrictive?
Do you think you have a better truck than most?
Is a wraith better?
Is a crawler king better?
What about the scx10, the ax10, the yeti, the twin hammers ,or your custom buggy?
Open comp (well almost)
Several have asked for it, so here it is.
When: Sunday 18/1/15 from 8:30am
Where: Bullsbrook hills Western Australia , private property. 9ks from Bullsbrook shops (pm for address closer to the day)
$5.00 entry fee (to cover costs)
In the lead up to a more tough truck type event, I'm putting on a comp for you all to try out one of the stages.
1 course, 50+ gates
2 classes. Under 2kg. Over 2kg.
Entry conditions
1. Shaft drive (no MOA)
2. Max width 300mm
3. Max tyre size 150mm
Drive through all of the gates with the least penalties.
Penalties are:
Reverse +1
Boundary touch +10
Gate touch +10
Battery change +5 (clock keeps running)
Human interference? You're out. (Excluding battery changes)
Can't clear a gate? You're out.
Need repairs? You're out.
Roll over and can't get back on your wheels? You're out.
In the case of a DNF, your time and gate progress will be recorded.
Course is set on granite with Quartz veins, there is some soil and dried grasses. Gates are a minimum 13" wide. (Several are wider)
Acceptable vehicles? Acceptable mods? .... All of them!!! Just meet the entry conditions above.
So bring your wraith, wroncho, ax10, scx10, crawler king, gmade r1, spm, ascender, buggy, truggy, yeti, 6x6, 8x8, u4, rock bouncer or anything else you have and put it head to head against everything else.
Winner will be able to claim what ever bragging rights they think they are entitled too.
