legalizing pot isnt going to fix a damn thing other than make a bunch of already rich mother****ers richer.

The government already gets a lot of our money. They obviously messed that up. What makes you think giving them more money will fix anything.

Some can argue that more tax money coming in provides more potential jobs in alot of unrelated areas. Of course thats if the morality and forethought of elected civil 'leaders' make use of said currency correctly, and I just don't have that faith.

Either way, the crime and anarchy that was said to happen in colorado still hasn't happened. And the jury is still out on whether or not the terrorism will be stopped by legal weed /s.

The only thing that sounds better than a more malleable society than we have now, which the evil weed creates, is tax free or money that isn't on books. Its a more profitable industry being illegal, that's why its been a fight.

If you think that new businesses shouldnt be taxed then no business should be taxed. And that could easily correlate to citizens. If you agree with the idea of taxation in general than you need to understand how much money is being lost by marijuana being illegal. And the tax aspect of it is far less important than many other aspects of it.

Legalize it already, within the same guidlines as alchohol and lets all move on. Thats the easy answer.

Of course it wont be that easy though...

Yep, make it like alcohol and tobacco...less problems for the police, more time to focus on real crime, tax money to pave all our roads and build new ones. I didn't used to but now think may as well legalize all drugs, people do them anyways and the illegality of them fuels the gangs bank accounts and power. Police don't want to legalize any drugs because they get trillions of dollars every year from the Federal government to fight the evil weed...lol. That is how the police get more power and play with all their cool military toys and weapons.
