Ok, you gotta buy EZ Off brand oven cleaner with the Yellow Cap. Don't get BLUE CAP, get YELLOW.
Generic brand Oven cleaner does NOT WORK. I tried it first, and had to go back to Wal Fart and get the good stuff.

Just a heads up.

Pardon my french, but how the hell is this considered tech?

I did the same thing, but the cheap brand does work. What you have to be sure of is that it is not the kind for self cleaning ovens. You want to get the stuff that has pure LYE, aka sodium hydroxide.

Now my AX-10 has shiney aluminum links and beadlocks. The fumes are nasty though, dont breathe them or get the lye on you.

You guys are a bunch of winey dorks. Suck it up, I was providing valuable info for the removal of the green. Heaven forbid somebody post in the wrong forum, it just might ruin your day, lol. "thumbsup"

"Greased lightning".....

Takes the Ano. right off!!!! Try it!!! It is available where ever you get standard cleaning products like 409 and simple green.

I use Eagle One wire wheel cleaner. I immerse the parts for a few minutes and the color is gone. Don't leave them too long though. The aluminum starts to disappear if left for a long time.
