paint or powdercoat?

for durability powdercoat is better hands down. Paint chips powder is very dificult to chip if applied corectly. when powder is applied it is electrostaticly attached to the metal even before being baked on.
 
the only advantages to paint is its cheaper and easier to do multicolor schemes it just depends on whats getting covered
 
Powder coating is most definetely tougher than painting but if you ever decide you wanna change the color scheme, you're gonna have a LOT tougher time of it. It'll take chemical strip or something like it to remove the powder coat. You can also burn it off but... We have a huge powder coat system at work, so I'm very used to dealing with it. It all comes down to personal preference.
