Panther Cougars

I have seen Losi tires look just like Ricky's panther. So a stiffer sidewall does no good.
not sure but some people on this site seem to get real defensive when someone says or does something against whatever it is they seem to feel is right.....are you getting paid or swag from some of these companies, kuz that might explain:roll:.....................P III

Like Redbaron said I was not being defensive I was Just telling the truth.

And just so you know I was bragging on the Panther tire way before they were one of my sponsors.
As of now IMHO they are making the best 2.2 comp tire there is and I believe if any of the new tires that are coming out are better that Panther will step up and do something to get back in the game.

received mine last Thursday and installed them 2 days ago. once i tried them i was making lines that my rock lizards cant.

also can i ask if there's an indication that my tires are backwards????

The tire should look like this from the front.

ohhh so mine was inverted all along... anyway it still has TONS of grip... good job panthers... (what happened to losis?)

Curious on what foam setups everyone has come up with lately. I have been running stock axial foams and the tires work very well. One thing I don't like with this foam is how fast the tires rebound, if my rig is in a bind then breaks traction the fast rebound will bounce my rig backwards. Are you guys tuning this with the size of venting hole? My NWTT hybrids didn't do this but the cold NW Montana weather makes these too stiff to use right now.

I would like to thank Panther for making such a great tire.

1st place East Coast Indoor 2.2 Challenge

My Panther tires sure played a big role in the win."thumbsup"

I think the top 6 were on Panthers. I don't know what truck was in seventh.

I was seventh at the 2008 indoor challenge. I ran Losi Rock Claws. After the comp I ordered the Panther Cougars. The Panther tire is the best in my opinion. Hopefully I can finish better at the next comp. Not a bad finish for a shafty. Myself and fourth place 63 Comet both run shafties. We like the shafts but were talking about moa all the way back to Buffalo. We both are going to be building moa rigs soon. "thumbsup"

Can anyone point me to the location of the Panther Cougars on the Panther web site? For the live of me I cannot locate any of these tires.

Thanks,

Carl
