Panther Cougars

ok so i got me some. what kinda weight or should i say how much weight are you using. unfortunately i have to use the stock rims. got a new set here but how much to make these perform? i currently run my losis at about 1 lb ea. for the front and the rear around 3/4 lb. think thats too heavy for the cougs?

While they look similar the side wall is completely different as is the tread...looks can only go so far, performance is what we are after.




There was a time when Panther was making Losi's tires (this coming from a local Losi Driver)...but you probably didn't know that.

LMFAO Settle down little piggy, I was just stirring the pot of stew brewing in here by flicking yall in the t-bags. I have nothing against Panther or their tires even if they based their tread design off of Losi's.
I'm happy to have another tire in the market to choose from, it only makes it better for us all.
I for one will wait and see how some of the local boys here in Colorado will fair with them, because I know they are going to get them looking for any advantage they can find. I don't jump on the band wagon to quickly, but quickly enough.

Now it is time to cook some bacon, mmmm pork!
 
It's been quite a while since I've posted anything here. Hell, I don't even own a crawler anymore but still read through the site from time to time.

Anyway, took a look at that little vid and I just had to say that was one of the best vids I have seen to date with the sole purpose of demonstrating a tires functionality. The point of view in several shots showed the tire's ability to conform to the surface perfectly. I think Panther should be sending a package your way for such a good little demo of some of their tires potential. If I were in the market for a new set of treads, That video would definately make me take more than just a second glance at this tire.
 
Panthers took a win today at the TSC comp.

Actually, the two comps I've entered with these, I've won. :D

The tires work good, there's no doubt about that. There was never a moment I wanted anything else. High levels of grip, always.

But I gotta say, the whole truck has been working kick ass. No dig either. "thumbsup"
 
I ran the Clay Panther tires I had from prototyping.

The clay panthers were actually worse than the M3 Hammer. I didn't thing there was ANYTHING worse than an M3 Hammer, but I found it!

I don't know Panther tires so what are the clay ones? Soft or hard??
