I designed the Front inner fenders. Still need to make some slight changes for better fit. This is Version 5 so there was much tweaking needed to get these to fit.

Rear inner fenders I used are intended for the XJ but fit with some minor trimming https://pinshape.com/items/26440-3d-printed-scx-10-ii-fenders

Front axle was extended about 1/4" to minimize tire rub on the rockers & fenders and improve approach angle. I built the stock shocks using green slime and they still leak. Some Pro-Line Powerstroke shocks will be replacing them.

Good coverage on the underside hiding all the electronics. More parts will be made to fill in the center of the rear.

How does the scale of the JKU compare to the XJ? Compared to real world. Is the JKU scale to much smaller? Like does it look funny standing next to a XJ? I'm looking to build up a scx10.2 and really like the look of the JKU but I'll be getting my son a XJ rtr and don't really want it to look funny or not really scaled in comparison. Very nice build up BTW. I'll be following this one closely.

The Axial XJ and JK are quite a bit different in scale. I would assume they scaled up the XJ to fit the existing SCX10 wheelbase when designing the 2nd gen. The Growlers on this JK for instance look like they would be in the 44" realm on a full scale rig.

That a sexy jeep! What you thinking for paint?would look good with a wrap "thumbsup"

Nice build! I did something very similar except instead of lengthening the front end to clear the fenders from tire rub i just mounted the body further back (which lead to more headaches with mounting the brawler rockers). Did the longer front links affect your steering/panhard angles?

Not enough to visually notice any bump steer or other binding issues. Figured it would be easier than dealing with the brawler mounting points.

Got an 8274 winch mounted up on the Scaler Fab bumper. The 9.5cti was too wide to fit in between the gussets of this bumper. Still undecided which fairlead to go with. One of the two will get removed.

Trying to get it completed by next Sunday for a comp. Only paint and wiring left. Will cutout the interior cover for a full 3D interior later.
