Picked Up A Geko......

Well I talked my budy out of his GEKO for $200. :mrgreen: It had some booty-fabbed front steering setup and a booty-fabbed rear lock out braket that had atleast 1/8" of play in it, :roll: It came with a super rooster, TQ3 controller, it has some Sapphire 17Turn single 18.5 AWG motors with 13T pinions it was way to hard to controll as in to FAST. the shocks are who knows what kind and it came with a Clod bodie with working headlights but it's a little beat up from rolling on the asphalt :roll: I tore it apart to clean it up but I'll get it back together soon and take pics.

P.S. are those motors gonna work or should I find something else?

I need new shocks for this thing and have no clue what would work best. :? What are some of you GECKO runners using, price, and where to get them? T.I.A.

I dont have a Gecko , however If im not mistaken 4 Inch shocks work best.
Cheap Emaxx shocks are good for Crawling , Unless you just want to buy some high dollar shocks.

any 4 inch shock will work. i am currntly using assosiated factory team t-maxx shocks they come in a set of 8 for 58.99, i kept my other 4 for a possible project but u can sell the extra 4 or w/e and so then you just paing like 30, but its ur call

Ok I see what your saying, I need to slow it down first, the crapy shock that are on it will do for now but pinions and motors and new steering are first thing on the list.
