Nice pics! One thing that I noticed about there setup was....In the third pic look at the upper link location, to control anti squat the one side is raised slightly higher than the other.

Thanks for the picks

What is the name of the truck in the first pic?

I'm interested in knowing if that is an independent suspension on a monster truck. And if so , I thought monster trucks were all straight axle as per the rules.

Great pics and you'll get a ton more in a couple of weeks!

There are no rules stating that a monster truck needs to have solid axles (or in this case, 4WD either), but look at the trucks that are consistently winning races/freestyle. As others stated, this truck does not typically run as well as conventional solid axle trucks. It being 2WD probably has far more to do with that than the IFS does though.

As far as the one of a kind 4-link set-up on the Pitbull truck, that's a good example of how 4-link bars were designed before the current long-travel suspensions came out. The shorter upper links arc differently than the lower links and changed the pinion/driveline angles as the suspension compresses. That's an older chassis design they use and if you look at any of the newer trucks (Grave Digger XX, Bounty Hunter, Raminator, etc.) you'll find the upper and lower links are the same length.

If it's there out front on display, the Big Dummy (Sometimes also called ProComp tires) truck has one of the most innovative suspension designs around, and is closest to the link mounted shocks we run on our RC's. Close-up photos of that truck would be great!

I have a gravedigger body sitting here that I want to replicate, but can not find good enough pics to show me the whole cage all the way around.

My buddy Mike Wine runs the blue thunder truck every so often, so guess I'll have to get ahold of him to get pics

I didnt say there was. but its stupid. the moron had to end a run because HE GOT HIGH CENTERED WITH THE FRONT WHEELS ON THE GROUND:roll:

Nothing like 26" beadlocks, but that whole truck is very cool! You actually stand up to drive this one (like riding a motorcycle). Only one like that in existence that I know of.

I remeber seeing a monster truck on a&e that the driver stood up in.. it might have been this one I am not sure. But it was about 2 years ago. It defenitely had a blue tube chassis as seen but the body was different then if it is/was the same truck

I hope the War Wizard Will be there. It looks like its built like a giant trophy truck with solid front axles. I dont know if they are still using that truck. I think they bought a Patrick chassis and are using that one now. If its the original I want to get alot of pictures of that one. Ill try to get more of the roll cages to. Ill also have some action shots some of racing but mostly freestyle.

That sounds like landings might be painfull, can the driver still have children?
