Pics of your latest purchase

I can't believe I am typing this, but I bought a Redcat! It's the Ascent-18 Brushless HS "Power Wagon". The looks sold me and I read and watched a lot of videos that said good things about these rigs.

In an effort to improve my balance, and maybe age slightly less quickly, i picked up a slackboard. This is my Christmas present i bought myself from my wife. They messed up the order and just finally got the right item this week.

It’s a total body workout for balance. Helps with his paddle board
I'm pretty good with my paddleboard. I would like to get back on a surf board this summer. Also looking to ski on my next Colorado trip. I've been snowboarding for about the last 10yrs, but after a concussion on my last trip (2yrs ago) resulting in a ~10hr blank in my memory around that accident (still no idea what actually happened), I think I'll get back on skis next time out.

I'm also thinking about a onewheel, but i need to find one locally to try and make sure before spending on that (likely an xr classic to suit my size).

Onewheel'ing is a blast! I have had mine since 2021, or whenever the gt first came out..4K miles on mine sofar, 4th tire, 2nd battery, 3rd set of bumpers, 2nd set of pads.

Grabbed a few things for the Monster Truck build.

Meus R&P and Bearings for the stock h10 housings I have to build another front axle so I have a full set of F and R axles for later.

brass servo mount for the Phoenix Kit to do yet.

Also got some new scissors and body reamer.
Rod End tool.

Picked up some cheap calipers but they were plastic and the one end was broken.
Will end up with a Stainless one. Didn't realize the one was plastic but I should have known. No worries, already refunded.

Mitutoyo for calipers. You won't regret it.

I currently run a set of 8" Fowlers at work. Usually I run 6" Mitutoyo 505-742 calipers.

I bought some stuff for watchmaking since I apparently don't have enough expensive hobbies. Parts are shipped. Hopefully see them in a week or two.

I have used Mitutoyo at pretty much every job I've had, but no way I'm spending that much for home use! I have the Harbor Freight digital and I took it into work to check against Mitutoyo and the calibration blocks and it was right on!

I ordered more Redcat parts. This time I got the Redcat portal weights (hoping they are compatible with my Injora knuckles) and overdrive/underdrive gears to try to get this truck to do something. Wheels and tars are on the way.

I tested my home HF cheapos on the calibration blocks at work as well. They were within .001 of the Mitutoyo's they use on the shop floor. Good enough for me.

Set of open end swappable wrenches for getting into/working in tight areas.

I picked these up for the 5/64 (just under 2mm) wrench, which I HOPE is the one I need to do the final spoke adjustments on the Pro Spec Rims.
Update, the 5/64 open end works GREAT for the Pro-Line ProSpec spokes. FYI

Then I grabbed a pack of f&r 3rds for the Phoenix TOF Portal kit I'll be starting on in a week or 3. Need to pick up a few things yet before I get started.

Went with some ChyNa 3rds on amazon. Price was to hard to pass up. both for 29.99.

Will work for now at least until I get back to work and get back to a steady income.
