Pics of your latest purchase

LC80 roof rack, neato lil jack, and the WAPN 8374? winch.......lol
I've been eyeing trx6 bed(s) on ebay for a little bit, for something on the backburner, but by the time you pay for it, after taxes and shipping, it came out to be less expensive as the plastic parts............
I managed to get one with a dent.......
However, it's toward the cab portion of the bed. Amain didn't pack it with any protection......
Amain's been slacking lately. My new body arrived terribly packaged to the point the decal sheet and window masks are creased to hell and back.

I got this coming purchased in august of last year been in backordered and its supposed to be delivered later on.

Never build a Tamiya TBH ... The Wife loves mini coopers so I "bought it for Her" you know you know for "HER". The only thing I know is that I need JIS tools? The plan is to add details and interior and make it look scale with some printed accessories.

Any tips or tricks??!!
JIS screwdriver set which you mentioned, order bearings before building, CVA oil shocks and aluminum motor mount are worth the upgrade.

Decided to pick up a 2n1 2300 Elite combo for the Phoenix Portal Kit build from TOF.

Been debating on the build. I still have a set of stock H10 axels as well as a 2nd stock f nearly full housing I can use.
So been considering making the Phoenix a Mullet using the spare single H10 axle I have and the stock portal rear axle.

That would leave me with an F10 portal Front, and a full set of H10's axles I could use later. Maybe a 4WS mullet.

Or I 4WS the Phoenix, leaving me with a rear F10 axle to use later. Though If I go this route, I'd likely want to get the machined gears for the full tranny. Or maybe I sell the Phoenix Portal Kit, and buy just the Vs410 portal kit and do the 4WS as it has the full built VFD Twin tranny in it I think.

Decisions Decisions.
lol

I also grabbed some 32p spurs for the MT build, but they're too big. DOH. Currently it has a 57t spur and theres not MUCH room to get a bigger spur on it, but should be able to go to a 62t give or take. Have a 17t pinion and want to drop it down to a lower gearing, thinking a 14 or 15t pinion on the largest spur I can get to fit on the SSD high ratio Tranny."

Other option I have considered for it is just building an Axial 3gear out of the clearnanced parts and using that. I have an old plastic Axial 3gear I can rob all the guts out I can buy, leaving bascially thus the need for a housing for it.

My girlfriend and I are talking about a summer trip to NY and I said I'd like to see an airshow with the Blue Angels or Thunderbirds. We used to have a local airshow when I was a kid and we'd go and watch the Blue Angels every year. But insurance seems to have killed that. Yesterday, she sent me a link to an airshow feature the Blue Angels not too far from us. I bought a lawn box for the show and I can't wait! 🙌 No pics of virtual tickets because why would I allow you to steal it?! 🤣

That's awesome! Always love watching a good airshow especially when the Thunderbirds or Blue Angels are there.

Luckily here in Ohio, the Cleveland Air Show features one of them every year. It is always a great show to watch!

Get some pro biotic packs for the water to help get them the other nuts they wont get out of the starter feed.
We have medicated food for them. I'll have to get water additive.

We put a few leaves of cilantro in there for them. They loved it. They had a great time chasing each other then promptly nosedived and crashed out.

They are only a couple days old so they are still learning. They are still a little skiddish but not as much as yesterday. We are handling them a few times a day. One of the amaricaunas is always eating, one of the Brahmas is head and shoulders taller than the rest and will probably be giant. She is also the most curious of the bunch. The other Bramha is the only one that will look up at us but is smaller, about the same size as the others.

They apparently find the best way to eat is to shove their heads into the feeder until they just about get stuck, then wedge their bodies into the hole with their feet off the ground and try to reach all the way across the feeder.

HAHAAHA Ya their good at getting stuck. wasn't long and I had to remove the top on the feeders so they didn't get stuck.

The bigger Brahma is possibly a roo.
