just got my new proline power wagon body.. trimmed and fitted. not painted yet.. will soon! any ideas on the paint? post them!

Hey, awesome truck and lid! I'd go with maybe a classic two tone paint job but that's just me. It all depends on what you like. Post up more pics as you go along "thumbsup"

I like the Military theme, olive drab with a white star on the ront door. Just my 2 cents. Its a nice body, I think any more than 2 colors and it wouldnt look rite.
 
Do you get a better result if you paint the body before or after you trim it?

Most times when you trim before you can stop the paint from cracking or peeling from the scissors or x-acto. I try to trim all my bodies first so I can get the paint in and put some marks on the outside where the body posts go and if its nitro you can mark the exhaust.
 
cool looking body but im not sure if the body post placement is going to be strong enough

i really like all the extra detail in the body, epecially the bed. looks like its gonna be a pain to get the paint even though.

also you may want to take a sanding drum to some of those edges to clean them up.

as for paint:
im thinking gun metal and a dark red
