Plastic Roll Cage Painting?

Dang fallen, that looks awesome!!!! Love the color choices, they go together rather well. Curious as to how well it holds up

Man, that looks great! If I didn't know any better I'd think that was an aluminum cage!

Agree with bama, the colors do look great together!

Thanks. I need to repaint those panels, as they're plastic and I painted them with Tamiya PS. The paint is wearing off from the sand / dirt that the front tires throw back.

I still haven't seen how the truck looks with the body mounted. I just can't bring myself to cover up the cage yet.

As far as durability of the Cerakote is concerned, it's fairly impressive.

I decided to run my UDR sans body in an Ultra 4 race against my son's Yeti. Many rocks were banged, scraped and a lot of roll overs happened.

For the coating to come off, plastic has to come off, and plastic certainly did. My skid plate, A-arms and trailing arms are all cut / scraped up. The roll cage still looks great.

The only places the Cerakote left the chassis are where plastic was removed. So if you're not hitting hard enough to remove plastic, you're not hitting hard enough to remove the Cerakote.
