~ Got PROPANE ? ~
I picked up a fairly new CC01 chassis/Roller last week....and decided to build up a quick Jeep Grand Cherokee.
Most all of the "Project" work....has been on re-doing the Cherokee body that I picked up.
It was pretty rough...and I had to spend several days on sanding & bondo work....to get it back to a decent condition.
I painted it with a base coat/clear coat system (Model Masters).....and the color is Platinum Metallic (which is quite similar to the factory color's & paint jobs that I've seen on many 1:1 Grand Cherokee's)
I would like to keep it...but unfortunately bills are due...so it's going in several forum's classified's here in a few minutes.
It's got hidden body mounts on it...and they worked out great.
I painted some wheels up...to match...with the same base coat/clear coat paint....that's on the Jeep's body.
I think it would look really good....with some even smaller tires and even more offset wheels....but this was all I had at the moment...to put on it.
I set it up so that the rear of the Jeep was slightly higher than it needs to be.....to allow for the weight of a large battery in the stock location.
It will level out with a decent sized battery in it.
