The other issue with this entire thing is they are only using part of what he said. I think he qualified parts of his statement, but they seem to only use the little chunks that fit into their agenda. Of course A&E has every right to end the show, but even Stevie Wonder can see that will not happen. At the end of the day, The Almighty Dollar will rule supreme, and they will kiss and make up.

for clarification to all, i'm not throwing a pity party here, i'm stating the view from my position. i kinda live of top of the fence (not to be all high and mighty, i just have to look at everything from 2 sides) so i see both sides of it. there are people and groups on both sides of the fence that i flat out refuse to associate with. no matter which way you look there are assholes.

but there are people that are great too, the good people far outweigh the assholes on both sides combined. most of the people i talk to on here i consider to be good people, only a couple people that really piss me off and that is more a business practice thing and they've been raked over the coals already.

I don't know what happened, so that was a joke. Since I don't know what happened, whenever, I keep an open mind and listen to everyone, God, Buddha, Jesus, Festivus, Hindu, Jenny from the Block. I don't say this is right or this is wrong when it comes to religion.

I watched the video. He sounds like a great guy, with a troubled past, got right, found success and has a hit reality tv show. More power to him but as an adult, that has a stage as big as his, he possibly could have responded to the question a little differently. That's all I am saying.

I watched two minutes of their show one day and saw the weird/awkward scripted dialog that was going on and turned it. Just wasn't for me.

Dozens of Arkansas duck hunters descended upon the state capitol today to violently protest “Duck Dynasty” star Phil Robertson’s suspension from the hit television show.
Robertson ruffled some feathers when, in a recent interview with GQ Magazine, he likened “homosexual behavior” to bestiality and promiscuity. A&E Network suspended him on Wednesday, prompting some fans to take to the streets.
The Little Rock Police Department successfully arrested 38 camo-clad men and women accused of looting at Bass Pro Shops, but officers are still working to regain control in other parts of the city. Duck blinds erected on East Markham Street have caused severe traffic delays in the River Market.
Noise complaints have been filed over “deafening” duck calls being amplified through bullhorns, and one eyewitness said he saw a hunter turn a bottle of Jack Daniels whiskey into a Molotov cocktail, which was then thrown through the windshield of a police car.
Craig Dancombe, the only gay “Duck Dynasty” viewer in Arkansas, was taken into protective custody after he posted a Facebook status supporting Robertson’s suspension.

People that spread division in America has lost sight of what this country was know to be about, a "melting pot" of different people.

The sad thing is that, it would seem, that the majority of vets get the shaft upon returning home. While all the stories I've heard were either tv news or paper/Internet and not from vets themselves, it sounds like they rarely get the help they need & deserve. Its not really a free speech issue when you are contracted to maintain a certain degree of professionalism.

If you had a job and was told you can mention a competitors name and you do..you lose your job because you broke a rule..not because they are against free speech...Ive said earlier im glad he spoke his mind but those who think its a free speech thing don't get it.
