PS3 Call Of Duty MW2 cant connect to server?

This past week or so I havent been able to play COD at all on my PS3. When I click the play online it just says "please wait connecting to matchmaking server..." or sometimes it says:
Fetching Playlists...
Updating Rank and Unlocks
Connecting to Matchmaking Server....

I was reading on google that a year or 2 ago they were having problems with server over load or something.

Is anyone else having a problem?

All the other online functions through the PS3 work ok...I dont actually have any other games to try so I dont know if its my PS3 or maybe something with the games servers?

I just went and checked, my MW2 on ps3 worked. I played a round of TDM.

I would say that your ps3 is acting up. I used to have times where mine would take awhile to load and get on. I would usually just shut mine off, and come back later and it was fine.

But if it's been going on for a week, I'm not sure.

Just hope yours doesn't get the yellow light of death like mine did. It was an original fat unit and now won't even turn on.
