Hello everyone, first ever post on this forum. I have rolls of 14awg pvc wiring sitting in my garage. Would it be okay to use pvc instead of silicone? I've read that silicone has a higher temperature range though.

If it is a crawler. I doubt it will see the heat/current that faster vehicles do. PVC is more ridgid then silicone and more prone to breaking with vibration. But depending on what you are doing it should work.

If you're running hot enough to require switching to silicone wiring, you have a huge temperature issue.
Pvc wiring does the job, it's just that silicone wiring is more pliable and looks better.
