I just tried my brand new TRX6 and the tire were great on rock but on loose soil I had a lot of issue. I was also crawling with my trx4 with hyrax and it was pretty much even.

So do you think the stock tire do not perform well in loose soil condition or mud?

Nothing wrong with the Traxxas Canyon Trail tires, they are actually considered a pretty good tire. They do need time to break in, so out of the box they may not work as well. They can also be tuned with different foams. I can't tell you how the 6x6 will crawl compared to the 4X4 so you might want to do a side by side comparison of the two using the same tires on both vehicles.

The trx6 does not come with canyon trail tire. They are 2.2 tire with 4.75 inch outside diameter. Great compound but not a lot of space between blocks
