Yes and No. They work well in both directions, but I'd advise that you run them all the same direction. one way or the other.
There is a small point on one of the center treads that is kind of an arrow to follow as a guide.

just run them one way and when they start to show some wear switch sides (right to left )or (left to right)

Yep, arrow in center (center lug) should point forward if you are looking down from above your rig.

run them one dorection until they start wearing than flip them. i hardly noticed a difference when i changed directions on my axial.

X10!! I could not agree more, almost forgot about that. I just siped a brand new set of Rovers yesterday too!! LOL!!
Siping helps that particular tire A LOT! Basically what you are doing is deepening the grooves that are already in your tread blocks with a dremel. Its easy and if you love the smell of burning rubber, you'll be in heaven! LOL!!:mrgreen:
