I have been sitting on this for about 5 months and finally got around to actually trying to finish it.

Had it all wired, tore it all out and started again. Once it was running, I had to try it on the rocks to see what it could do.

Had some help from the experts on here to correct the issues that running a frame mounted steering setup.

It is not parallel but it is real tight in there and is as close as I can get. I am considering trying to make a system similar to the hilift.

Made a dash and used a Wild Willy driver, found a nice fuel cell and bent some brass rod for fuel lines, and it is basically ready to roll.

Need to get a Deans connector on the winch controller tomorrow then maybe take it to iHobby this weekend.

And after iHobby, i have 2 SCX10s to rebuild/modify and a HiLift to do something with, lol. Now you see why i can just drool over your racer instead of buying it?

Ok, soldering done, winch working, a few accessories added and now Bob is ready for iHobby

Timberwolf looks good, how was it mounting that servo on the frame? a big deal or no?
i also have one coming in the mail, still not sure which tires to put on it.....those 2.2 Rok Lox you have on it, don't look bad"thumbsup"

Well, I broke the pan hard bar on a tumble about 4 feet on the rock, but until then, the steering was working well. It was not an easy mod and I may change to a bell crank steering system which may allow me to go without a pan hard bar. I also broke 3 links so it was a hard fall.

I also found the truck was too top heavy for the steep stuff even though I was running in full droop. So I am going to redo the 4 links to drop the CoG. My Honcho out climbed the TW constantly so I need to get the CoG down.
