quick tire foam question

ok i have some 1.9 swampers and i love them, super grippy, any ways i like the way the tires grip the rocks with the stock foams but i dont like how when i turn the wheels while moving im driving on the side walls. is this normal? is there a way to stiffen the side wall a little to prevent this without losing any of the griptastic grip i have, if so how would i go about doing so?
