I would like thank everyone for coming and enjoying MT Baldy with us. It was a great event to put together and host. There will be more to come I can promise you that. I am glad everyone enjoyed themselves and I will see you at KOH February 9, 2013 watch the forum for more details. "thumbsup"

ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?!?!?

All I have to say to the aspiring G6'ers and veteran G6'ers is the So-Cal G-Units Mountain Mash G6 had every driver in attendance screaming on thing;

WE'RE G6'N AND YOU KNOW IT!

Mt. Baldy was EPIC. So-Cal has more than just beaches, waves, and bikinis; they have some of the sickest G-Ride/scale builders I've ever seen. "thumbsup"

What impressed me even more than the building talent, was everyone had driving skills!

I seen scale land sailors on top of G-Rides. I seen drivers that turn the steering wheel and look at where they're driving. So-Cal is just waaay too cool.

I enjoyed seeing old friends like Rockpiledirver and fellow teammates, Del Monte & Brandon. I always enjoy seeing the most talented female crawler in the World, Jess! And she was wearing hear signature attire...a cast! ;-) Get better girl, I love you guys.

Thank you, Phamtastic for popping my RECON G6 Ultra Class cherry. Thank you to all my sponsors for the support. Most of all, Thank You, So-Cal G-Unit for giving me the chance to drive. Ya'll did an awesome job and fun was had by all in one way, shape, and form."thumbsup"

A very special "Thank You" to RCP, ZoSo and your beautiful wife for the hospitality!!! Thank you both for everything including the diner!

You can get your next scaler fix, in the Axial RECON G6 Ultra 4 at King of the Hammers on Feb. 9th. The So-Cal G-Unit & the G-Crew and the rest of the Ultra 4 racing world will be there.

Well that was a blast!!!!!. I'm a G6er!!!! now, A big Thanks to all the guys who put it on RECON G6 SoCal G-Unit ,I also want to thank (Krawler Konceptz) for there parts tray I won for the Good Sportsman award. Heres what won me this.. I took off a few rows back from the front and teamed up with some other guys, and then we lost a couple of guys so one of the guys (forgot his name) and I hooked up and started a good pace, I thought!! my JK was working great but when we got to gate 19 my Jeep decided to blow out the intermediate shaft. So I had to pull over and take the body and motor/trans out and replace the shaft, I told my buddy to just take off, I than got up and running a little back in the pack and had to redo gate 19. I than helped a couple of guys get through 19 than took off on my own. I helped a couple of other guys with help from the guy with the tow truck (forgot his name  and than I took off on my own again, I made it a little farther and than blew it out again, now its getting old!! went back to my truck to fix it this time. Then I re-entered and started out again (still by myself) and made it to gate 33 and almost to 34, and on a rock climb I was winching up and gassing it, I blew the intermediate again :evil::evil: This time it was really bad so I took off to my truck and had to hand make a shaft because I was out of some parts. I fixed it and back down I went again, this time it was funny because I caught up with the guys that were in front of me, they were having some big problems on one of the climbs so I tucked in behind, then when it was my time for the climb I was on my own they just took off, what ever Lol....I started climbing and GUESS.... what happened. I just said screw it, I gave it my best!!! AND.....I had no more parts.

I want to also thank Tekin for my NEW 412 motor, its only the 2300 but this thing is a TORK MONSTER!!!! It ate 3 shafts.

The only thing that was a little tuff is if your back in the pack you will come up on real slow people and you can't pass, that a loan will keep you from finishing. There has to be away to get this fixed??? Ideas????

So KOH is in about a month....I was in a build off on RCC and I won the contest and got a TF2 from RC4WD, so I have torn down my JK that weighed 9lbs and not that I'm a Toyota guy but I'm going to build a new rig now. Hopefully its done by KOH. I will be posting a thread on this build.

All this just because I had to go to a G6 event!!!! DAM you guys lol.......

O.........and he gave me shit for my Doll House VW :lmao:But I forgive you Mike (Nissan driver) you were just jealous you didn't have a BAD ASS rid like mine:lmao: Joking aside, it was nice meeting you. Your rig is bad ass!!!

Now that I have finally recovered from a crazy time in SoCal I want to say WOW!!!

With the combination of Disneyland, G6n, and the long drive home that night man was I tired.

What can I say, had an awesome time at the So-Cal Mountain Mash G6. Mt. Baldy spot had a great combination of water, rock, dirt, and great weather. I really enjoyed meeting everyone from So-Cal old and new. WOW to all of the awesome rigs I got to set my eyes on, the attention to detail in the rig are amazing.

My Axial VP SCX-10 Honcho did an awesome job with not one hiccup even when half of it was in the water since I decided to skip the bridge :)

It was an honor to drive side by side with the one and only DRIVINMF @ a G6. I want to thank So-Cal Recon Crew for the hard work to make this happen for their area. Thank You to Mike "The Doc" for having a sence of humor that VW does look bad ass can't wait to see your next project.

I can't wait to come back to the Axial RECON Ultra4 G6 @ King of the Hammers.

All I know is the 20 something gates I completed were hella fun and I'm preparing now for the Koh and g-6, sleep is over rated but I will be ready :D

Nice to hear all of the drivers comments, "sore as Hell", "I only made it to Gate 140". But they all cant wait for the next G-6, News Flash>>>>>> "So-Cal gets Parkerized" "thumbsup"

Had a great time Saturday. Always good to see old Friends and attend another G6 "thumbsup"

I brought along two first time G6'ers to show them what its all about, they had a blast.

Stayed up way too late the night before making a canoe... :ror:

The bridge was awesome!
