I have no idea if anyone has tried this but it worked out ok
you will need paper clips
narrow ribbon
81215%20146.jpg

snaps from a fabric store ca glue
81215%20145.jpg

small piece of styrene or what ever you use
81215%20147.jpg

needle nose pliers
and hoof nippers or square nose wire cutters
so start with a paper clip
81215%20132.jpg

straighten it out
81215%20133.jpg

bend it 90 degrees
81215%20134.jpg

bend it into a loop
81215%20135.jpg

now back on itself
81215%20136.jpg

another loop
81215%20137.jpg

back again
81215%20138.jpg

then cut the loop off it should look like so
81215%20139.jpg

now make 4 more
now straighten another paper clip bend a loop at one end
81215%20140.jpg

not sure how to explain the next bend it is a 90 of sorts
81215%20141.jpg

then back up to the loop
81215%20142.jpg

then cut it off should end up wit this thing
81215%20143.jpg

these are the anchor loops you need 5
now thing get a little tougher on one end of the ribbon cut it off on an angle put a dab of glue on it and smooth the glue out
81215%20148.jpg

now take the snap apart from the card stock so you have 2 haves find the have that was the back and thread the ribbon through one of the hole from the back side should look like this
81215%20149.jpg

now thread it through one of the first buckles that you made like so
81215%20150.jpg

then thread it through the anchor loop
81215%20151.jpg

then back through the buckle
81215%20152.jpg

now pull as much ribbon though the snap as you think you need and cut the ribbon off on an angle fold it over and glue the ribbon together
81215%20153.jpg
that is 1 of 5 straps done
the next strap goes in the hole next to the one where the fist one is
81215%20154.jpg
that is it for the shoulder straps

the lap belts all the same threading just different locations on the other half of the snap you want to end up with a t instead of a y:head:
start with 2 strap across from each other
81215%20155.jpg

then add 1 to complete the tee
81215%20156.jpg

now snap the two together
81215%20157.jpg

the last thing is to glue a small piece to the center to hid the hole and make it look like a release handle
sorry for the bad pics took them with my phonre

Well done and detailed "How-To""thumbsup"

I like these step-by-step how-to's from members that cover every move.
What may seem basic, easy and common sense for many of us concerning certain steps in a process can be an immense help for many others just starting out in the hobby and encourage them to take on a build of something that they might otherwise not ever attempt.

Thanks you for the how-to.
Now hoping to see pictures from members of their attempts at your harness"thumbsup"
