Is there a radio for under $100 that can work a winch from the remote? I know of the losikid flysky radios but their not in stock at the moment.

You can order the programmer and solder the 4 pin programming header in place so you can hack a GT3B or GT3C yourself.

Buy the flysky and hack yourself?

Im narrowed down to one spare that's fully built but I think I'm going to do more to it before I let it go. Will be slightly more than $100 due to all the added mods.

Just starting to teach myself how to solder not sure if I'm ready for that kinda job yet :). Was just looking at the spektrum dx4c, anyone have personal experience with this radio?

Radiolink rc3s

RadioLink RC3S Transmitter with Receiver For RC Car Boat - US$45.05

Better than a flysky in every single way. Fhss instead of AFHDS (less likely to glitch), 4 channel, everything works out of the box (unlike the buggy gt3b), receivers are fine up to 10v, radio is lipo ready up to 3s, lighter, better made, better screen, channel mixing and much more. I seriously can't recommend it enough for a budget radio.

Thanks for the info on the radiolink. Really like the look of it and for the price kinda hard to pass on.

I have the DX4C and like it so far, sspektrum did have a deal for the 4C with two receivers for $99, not sure if it's still on.
It has two aux channels and 4 or 5 assignable switches, 2 and 3 position, so you'll be able to run a winch. Personally I run a 2p switch on one channel for my lighs and 3p on another for my winch, it works great!

+1 for Boogies suggestion although I have the dx4s but same effect. 3 position 3rd channel for my winch and 2 position 4th channel for the lights.

I have a dx3r with receiver listed in the for sale section that may be in your price range.
