I had to start using a pistol radio after an accident at work damaged ligaments in my arm so I had minimal use of both thumbs and index fingers, now after having used sticks for 20 years, that accident was something a worst enemy would wish on me
...I did recover to about 90% right/75% left over the next 12-24 months
...it took some getting used to (pistol) but now I prefer it for all forms of rc cars...except 1:12th, as hard as I try, using pistol with a 1:12th pan car is 1 lap slower over an 8 min race

the EX10 is an excellent radio.
however, afaik, the 3rd channel is only an off/on affair.
most people want the third channel to be 3-way, to best control their DIG.
and the DX3R will do this from the box. (dunno about the DX3S)
as for timmah and jedsled's comments.... really? take that stuff to the chitchat section.
