rc car action yeti monster truck

Looks pretty neat for what it is.

I'm probably the only one but why and i mean WHY do people use that ridiculous sound system. So distracting and void of any real sound matching. Sounds like a constant Fart.

Do u think it's possible with the yeti xl?

Does the Yeti XL have a solid axle that steers?

Seems like a really retarded way to go about making a monster truck. Why not buy one that already has two solid axles? Deep derpy.

Built on AR60's, not XL's... Wrong section.
OP want's to know if it can be done with an XL... he's just gotta wait for the release of the new top secret missing parts. (oops, I've said too much!)

RCC Summer Shutdown should happen before the release date so... sol.

Lets put it this way with funds it can be done, only question is why build it on a Monster rock racer Buggy format and even if you just put clod buster tires on it, it'll be just a buggy with really big tires. I can see why you would pick the YXL as your base format because of its size but, monster trucks has to have 2 solid axles.

I found this thread and when the beta testers are done with their evaluation and working out the kinks they will start production. Damn I woulda loved to be one of the beta testers.

Helios is a buddy of mine and he does indeed have a functioning monster truck with 2 Yeti XL axles. If you would like an idea on its size, take a toddler's shoe and place it next to a wraith, then look down at your foot and imagine a truck that makes your shoe look like that toddler's shoe in comparison. I'm sure he will show it off when the project when it is complete.

Which chassis did he go with or did he opt for a custom one, a few more details please I lay awake at nights just dreaming about the finish product.:mrgreen::mrgreen:

Why is it called a Yeti Monster truck? It looks like the only thing Yeti are the lower links?
