So I purchased my first crawler kit. While I have a couple other RTR crawlers this will be the first one I build up myself and install nicer electronics. So far the build is going well. i will load up some pics later.I have had the BOM kit for about a month and a half kinda waiting for the craziness of the holidays to be over before I started the build. I will list my specs and options parts/hopups I have on order if anyone has any other recommendations please let me know.

GMade GS02 BOM

Electronics
Tekin RX4
Tekin 3100KV Roc Elementproof motor
Sanwa ERS-XT servo

Radio
Sanwa MTS ( waiting forever for M17)

Hop ups
SSD axle weights
Gmade AR04 Alum wheels
Hot racing scx10.2 steering servo mt

Hop ups not on order but I am comtemplating
ssd alum knuckles
Aluminum shock hoops( not sure on brand yet)
JUNFAC Alum cantilever mounts and sway bars
JUNFAC Harden Universal Shafts
JUNFAC Metal motor plate

Thanks everyone for the input in advance.

Congrats on your first build! It'll be a ton of fun and a lot of learning.

Personally I think the RX4 an ROC412 are probably overkill. I think 3100kv will definitely be fast in this truck.

I am using 2cell lipo so I am hoping it will be ok. I have an 11t pinion for it to start. I have few other crawlers (2 scx10.2 for my Daughters,Ascender and TRX-4) I like the fact that the BOM is a little different from most.

Let us know if your kit gets the updated transmission housing. If not, make sure to email GMADE for it.

I already e mailed them waiting to hear back yeah it was the old one.On plus side I did get the alum link bushings.

I am trying to decide which beadlock ring to use. I have a set I am working on also that are painted to match the body.
