RC Helicopter Suggestions

I've been into the crawlers for a few years now and have had a few cheap indoor rc helicopters that were a blast, but this year I want a decent outdoor rc helicopter for Chirstmas. I'm looking for something easy to fly and large enough to handle more than a blowing a/c vent (which totally screwed up the little ones I had). It would be nice if it could take a crash or two also because I'm sure that'll happen. RTF would be great too. Any suggestions?

This thing is fun as hell and easy to fly. I fly it everyday its very tough and will handle a lite wind.

If you want a collective pitch rc helicopter then I suggest spending the money on a good sim and pratice that way cause the are a pain to learn to fly.

Just fixed pitch stuff. The cheap Air Hog ones and stuff like that.

i can second that the MQX is an absolute blast to fly. but its not gonna be much of an improvement over your current helis as far as wind handling.
i would stay away from CP without 6 months on a simulator.

i would suggest the 120 SR. its one of the largest FP helis, and easy to get parts for.

i had a blade cxp 2. it did okay outside in a light breeze. was my first foray into heli's. took quite a few hard falls with minimal damage. unfortunately i tried flying it in a little to stiff of a breeze. went up about 40 feet an out of range. wind took it an havnt seen it since.
