RC Motor Lathe's

I got a used Hudy motor lathe off of craigslist. I sent the guy on craigslist a email that I would buy it for $75. He never responded. One week later the same ad, he listed it for $50 and I got it. I was like SWEET!

Fantom was the best unit in my opinion...The hudy units were nice, but I preferred the non-bearing units. Trinity, Twister or Reedy all had nice units as well, but much tougher to find. Cobras work but often need a little fiddling to work right, same with the integy units. In the end, they all work....some just need a bit more tweaks than others, which you should not have any issues doing with your machinist background.

I use fantoms in the shop, except on 550 or Axle Buster/Sisu arms, as they will not fit in the fantom, so I use a hudy. I have been working on my own design of a motor lathe...more of a production thing though.
