Where are people getting these clear plastic rc car stands to work on them the car is centered on the skid. There paintable right? Anyone with info would help so I can purchase one.

I stole some of the large building blocks that look like big Legos from my son's toy box and build stands from those. Cheap, easy, free, and re configurable.

JConcepts makes a pretty cool stand. It's like a lexan body in that it comes clear with a paint mask. It only costs ten bucks and you just paint it like a truck body. I have a stand like that from Pro Line, but I think they're discontinued.
