Hey everybody I'm just about to build my first 1.9 scaler/ultra 4 type rig and am looking at axles trying to decide which route to go. I know the ax10 axles are top suggestion for many reason but I hate that big ol' ugly pumpkin sittin dead center of the axle, I really like ar60' but too wide. So pretty much I've come to REAllY like the way the rc4wd black widow axles look and had a couple of questions that hopefully u guys could answer?
1. Quality, strength, how well do they hold up to a beatin?
2. How wide are they compared to ax10 axles pin to pin or hex to hex?
3. Kinda sames as 2 but how wide apart are the shock and link mounts compared to ax10 axles?
4. Are the threads pretty good or do they strip out quick?
Thanks again,
Isac

Yota axles with rpp gears have held up ok for me.
I had to change out the bearings pretty quick too.
The rc4wd gears seem to be softer material, RPP's
seem to be stronger and they are helical cut.

Thanks for the info, I've also been lookin at those axles as well. Cause I'd like to build me a hi-lux truggy in the near future too!
