Rc4wd copperhead as a rock racer/bouncer?

What do u thing about the rc4wd copperhead artr?

Would like to build a "cheap" rock racer/rock bouncer and I think it could do the job...

Is the trans (R2?) ok for brushless power? Axles? Etc...

Will I have to change gearing? Upgrade everything?

Don't want something crazy but a rig fast and power enough to fool around...

I had run the Rock Rider chassis for a while, it worked out pretty good.
I drilled the skid to accept an Axial trans (and AR60 axles) and ran the Traxxas VXL system.

I have pics I can post tomorrow when I get to work.

I also used the Bastard Jr chassis for a foff truck.

Thanks and yes, would like to see pics of ur... Really like the look of this rig and ca have it at a good price at my lhs...
Would like to run it with a mmp/tekin 10.5 or my castle sv3! Better to change the trans or the rc4wd one will do the job?
And the axles are ok? Really want to build a rock bouncer look a like rig...

My question is: is the rig able to handle brushless power?
If not, what do I have to do, upgrade, change...

R2 wont last long with brushless mine made it 2 packs and gears were junk

You'll need an upgraded Axial drive train if you want to run it like a bouncer.

EDIT: Ideal situation-
Axial trans with Robinson Racing gears
MIP drive shafts
built Axial axles (Super 300/VP/Axial cvd's, beef tubes, HD gears, knuckles, chubs)

So the only good part is the chassis and that's it?
Can I run the axles for a while or ar60 is the only way?
And what about the Novak timburk2 wraith edition (13.5t)?
Yes it's brushless but not too powerfull, can it run the stock trans/axles?

The thing is I don't want to spend too much money and time over this "project"... So I don't want a complex custom built, etc...
