RC4WD presents the 2018 Rock Island Spring Fling

Rock Island is proud to announce the 12th Annual Rock Island Spring Fling!!

After much lamenting, and the need to increase efficiency for management when running the comp, it has been decided to have Saturdays’ events of the Spring Fling require a $20 entry fee.

This will cover/include entry into all scale classes, a raffle ticket, pancake breakfast, electricity, parking, use of grill/fire pit, awards, primitive camping and anything else we can do to give you a great crawling experience ������

We once again are expanding both the size of the Island and the length of the event.

As always free primitive camping, parking, electricity, and pancake breakfast

Friday April 20 -
2 pm - set up
6pm - fire pit opens/free crawl
8:30pm - night trail parade

Saturday April 21
SORRCA CLASS 1,2 AND 3
Yes class 3 will run 1-2 courses as an Exhibition Class following SORRCA class 3 rules

6am the Island opens
7am - free pancake breakfast and course building
8:00 am - tech (SORRCA POINTS CALCULATOR)
9:15 am - drivers meeting
9:30 am - courses open

Awards when we finish

Sunday April 22
7 am the Island opens
8:30 am - tech
9:00 am - drivers meeting
9:45 am - courses open

The goal will be to run 4-5 courses, including finals for 2.2M - if time allows we will also run 3-4 courses, including finals for 2.2S
