I'm wondering if anyone has tried the crawler 2.2's from rc4wd and if I can get some feed back. looking for a taller 5+" tire to test out a chassis and can't find HB rovers right now, seems there's a shortage. I have thought about panthers and chisels but hear that the rovers are better then both for a couple reasons so i'm looking for something that's in the same ballpark as for function.

thnx.

I have never run the Rc4wd tires but I have seen and felt them and they are not very soft at all, I know TCS has the medium compound rovers in stock, but you really can't go wrong with Panthers

X-Locks are a great tire "thumbsup"

The V3 compound is totally different then the old compound.

I took 40th out of 86 drivers with these at ECC this past weekend.

not bad for a guy that judged all day as well "thumbsup"

ah, you're just doing some advertising - team rc4wd, LOL.

so, is the v3 compound on the site, standard for all crawler tires or just specific ones?

And Im not the best driver out there by any means. :ror:

I like Panthers and Losis as well and have them in my arsenal . This is just another great choice of tire "thumbsup"

Yes V3 Compound is now the standard "thumbsup"

The only 2.2 Tires from rc4wd I would run in a Comp are the X-Locks. The Rocklins Tread fold over to easy. You will have to change the Stock foams out of course.
