EDIT: I think I misunderstood the email from RC4WD, this is looking more like these are just new tires not updates.

I just got an email from RC4WD showing off their new T-shirts, yay  but it also mentioned they've got some of their old tires available in the new compound which is pretty cool.

Anyway I think this is a nice move "thumbsup"

Hopefully they expand the number of offerings, they sure have a ton more to update.

The compound will be the Advanced X2S³ Compound.

Good job RC4WD "thumbsup" keep it coming.

Okay maybe I've misinterpreted this, are these all new?

Personally, I think the advertising blurb is what is causing confusion!

They claim that they are "Classic" tires in a new compound - I don't know if the exact tread design has been available before - they look slightly different than their other tires - even the Ground Hawg has a different tread than the other sizes have... and it actually says "Mud Hog" on the sidewall.

New size of the Interco Ground Hawg II:

Advanced X2S³ Compound
Fits 1.55" Wheels
Outer Diameter: 4.19in / 106.4mm
Width: 1.31in / 33.4mm
Inner Diameter: 1.54in / 39.2mm

and the new unlicensed tiny tire - the Rocky Country 1.55":

Advanced X2S³ Compound
Fits 1.55" Wheels
Outer Diameter: 4.02in / 102.3mm
Width: 1.26in / 32.2mm
Inner Diameter: 1.61in / 41.0mm

And as was mentioned before, the M/T Baja Pro X is all-new and licensed:

Advanced X2S³ Compound
Fits 1.7" Wheels
Outer Diameter: 4.20in / 106.8mm
Width: 1.61in / 40.9mm
Inner Diameter: 1.70in / 43.2mm
Each Tire Weight: 2.62oz / 74.5g

The 1:1 versions of those Baja Pro X tires were first discussed over here:

If they where gonna mound a older tire from a new compound I wish they do the 1.55 Slingers. Now that is a classic

X2! No tire looks better with a classic yota body IMHO of course. "thumbsup"

I 100% agree. That's the only reason I'd want them! Old school looking tires on an old school body.
