I stripped out the pin that holds one half of the rear drive shaft to the center diff and I mangled it trying to get it out. I figured I might as well upgrade since I have to get a new one and the stock one is $63. I see two different ones on Amazon:

https://www.amazon.com/GPM-Losi-Upg...UTF8&qid=1548427479&sr=1-3&keywords=los232005

and

https://www.amazon.com/LOS232005-Up...UTF8&qid=1548427479&sr=1-1&keywords=los232005

I was going to get the CrazyRacer one because I never hear good things about GPM but it will take 3 weeks to arrive. Is it wprth the wait or shoud I go with the GPM. Or are there better options?

I don't own this specific SSD part yet myself (although I own several others), but quite a few other people here seem to like it a lot.

SSD RC Rock/Baja Rey Scale Steel Rear Driveshaft about $30 on multiple sites like AMain and RPP Hobby.

Just remember this note on the product page.

"NOTE: The stock Losi M4 screw pins are required."

Don't buy that Chinese garbage on Amazon. You won't be happy with it.

I think I may have ordered the wrong rear driveshaft. I ordered this one: SSD RC Scale Steel Long Driveshaft for TRX-4 / SCX10 II Kit Rear https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07H9D2XWV/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_e7muCb74CSAM1

The Amazon description says it fits the Baja/Rock Rey. It also has the SSD part number for their Rock/Baja Rey one. But it is clearly labeled TRX-4/ SCX10. it Does anyone know if it will fit? The minimum length is the same and the maximum is 2mm shorter.

I own a Baja Rey for a couple of days now. Seems to me that the stock rear drive shaft’s Joints are not really well toleranced? A lot of play. Also noisy on lower speeds.
