Rear steering

Just got done with my home engineered rear steer on my E-Maxx, took it out for a test run and noticed my rear alignment will not stay constant, the
rear wheels turn on their own. I believe I have traced it down to the servo saver I installed, I think the spring is way to soft and allowing my issues. it is just a general use stock Traxxas unit.

Anybody know of a good somewhat stiff springed servo saver that
I can try?

I may have to run a solid servo horn just to keep my alignment and have
it track straight when not using the rear steering.

I'm running a good high torque metal geared servo

Any advice would be appreciated

Thanks
Steve

Are you going to be running it at crawl speeds, or will you be going fast. If it is only crawl speeds, then I agree, ditch the servo-saver.

...and where in the hell are the pics/video?

That's the way I'm leaning dump the servo saver for an aluminum servo
horn, if I use a plastic one there may still be to much flex, now to find an L shaped aluminum servo horn

Your mistake was building what I'll assume is a pretty awesome rear stear mod and using a piece of junk Traxxas saver. Traxxas savers are prone to wearing out and are weak all around. Get yourself a quality Kimbrough saver for whatever servo you have and you'll be much happier.

Just order 3 of the Ofna's, the traxxas version is the only one I had left in the toolbox when I completed my mod.

What servos would you guys recommend, right now I'm using a couple
JR Racing 650 metal geared servos

In my Scx10 I run an Airtronics 94851 200oz torque at 6v metal gears and $43! Savox have some gret servos as well, have some of them in my other Rcs

Is this a basher rig or a crawler? Since you said it was a emaxx, I'm just wondering because bashers don't really need a super strong servo like crawlers do. So if you plan to crawl-get a stronger servo in the 250oz range and up ish but if it's just going to be driving around like a normal emaxx lol then one of tue cheaper and less powerful servo's are needed

Then either hi-tech, spektrum, JR. Just look for one in the high 200oz range or 300oz, just depends on how much you want to spend
