Just got a Spektrum Dx5c and a few receivers so all my models are on one radio.
The antenna wire on these spektrum receivers are long which is good but im entirely sure what do with them, so they are just loose, i dont want them to get caught up in anything.

suggestions?

I always roll the antenna inside the receiver box.
Might lose some range but who drives their RC truck from 300 feet ?

Remember, the Rxs are used in more than just land vehicles. They're also used in boats & planes, which ARE more than 300ft away...sometimes a LOT more.

When did Spektrum receiver antennas get long? I have an SR6200A in one of my TRX-4s, and an SR515 in the other. The antennas are so short, I can get maybe 1/2" of the tip of it to actually exit the box.

Mind you, I still have flashbacks to transmitter chips and 18" long FM antennas.

I just cut mine. Haven’t had any problems. Leave maybe an inch on all mine

I almost always use 3M dual lock (industrial velcro) to hold down electronics and tuck the antenna under it. The dual lock holds it in place.

Or I'll coil it up, find something small and round (like a hex driver) to wrap the wire tightly around and it should hold its shape after it springs back a bit.

Not sure what Rxs you use but the manuals for ALL the Rxs I have state "do not cut, bend, fold, staple, or otherwise damage the antenna as this will make the RX inoperable". The critical part of the antenna is the bare wire, average about 1" long. the rest of the antenna usually has a clear cover over the wire. Now, in all honesty, I have never done the "cut, bend, fold, staple" thing so can't argue whether it actually makes the RX inoperable.

Spektrum and Traxxas TQI. They definitely have less range, but I stay up close and personal on them anyway.

Yeah, if you'll ever want to sell them or use them in something that gets more than a dozen feet away, you'll have to fix that.
It's not that hard, you just have to leave a certain length of the center lead longer (like it was originally) than the shield around it.
