Finally got around to taking a few pics of the Sportsman class Poison Dart (red chassis). The red chassis (actually more like magenta) is covered and hard to see.
The top panels and side panels are courtesy of Guillotine Graphics (rccrawler member "igrind808"). I wanted a simple, clean design in red and white - and that's what I got!

BTW: The chassis is excellent quality and definitely outperforms the stock Axial chassis.

Man it does look good. How about some specs. I always want to see what everyone is runnin'. X3 on the plugs can almost smell them from here.

The plugs will be going SOON.

Some Specs:
Poison Dart chassis and links
Holmes 45T motor
Rooster ESC
Hitec 7955 servo
Castle BEC
2S MaxAmps Lipo battery packs
Underdrive rear gears
Rover White dot tires
Vanquish rims (4 ounce of weights in front, no additional weight in the rear)
All metal transmission gears (tranny and motor mirrored)
Integy drive shafts (will also be replaced very soon)
Losi shocks (white springs rear, Losi mini-T gold springs front)
RC4WD spacers on front axles (helps with turning radius)
Beef Toobs in both axles
Axial aluminum C-hubs with aluminum high clearance knuckles

You been to any comps with it yet?

I am lucky enough to live where there is a Comp nearly every Wednesday and almost every other weekend. The Poison Dart chassis is heads and shoulders better than my previous boutique chassis (name intentionally withheld). The rig does quite well - much better balanced. My results have improved dramatically since the chassis change.

How did you wedge those components in that thing?
To make all of the components fit within the Poison Dart, I mounted the ESC on a plate suspended between the front upper links. The RX is mounted on top of the transmission case, using industrial strength velcro.
Of course, the servo and the battery are mounted on the front axle.
