Red Solo Cup

Wife bought front row tickets to see Rodney live, THE funniest live show I've seen. His jokes and songs are great, but his facial reactions and body language just make it that much funnier

So the first time It came on the radio I hated it...

A couple hours later I listened to it again and now I actually like it. You have to admit that it is catchy as hell, if I listen to it I will be singing it in my head for the rest of the day.

I also heard an interview with Toby about it and he said when they asked him if he wanted to do it he said he thought it was the stupidest song ever...and an awesome song!

He can sing, no denying that. Seen him live too, floors some people when he breaks out into a cover of top40 song and does a hell of a job of it.

The catchy ditty was written by Brett and Brad Warren and Brett and Jim Beavers, and Keith said it wasn’t pitched to him to record but just sent to him as an MP3.
“It was ‘listen to what I heard last night,’ one of them deals. I played it, I laughed out loud, and my first comment was, ‘That is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard in my life. That is stupid; somebody wrote a song about red plastic cups,’” Keith said. “And next morning, I wake up from just hearing it and I’m going, ‘Holy cow, I know that song inside and out. I cannot get it out of my head.”
“There’s nothing else there like it, and it’s just one of those crazy things that happens sometimes in music,” Keith added. “It’s just one of the craziest things we’ve ever done. And I’m having so much fun with it.”
