Redcat 390 70t motors???

I have an original RS10 (just the axles now) that came with standard 380 motors and they are a bit under powered. I upgraded to the banebot motors and I fried one so I am on the lookout for some new cheap motors. It looks the the 390 70t motors that came with the RS10 XT would defiantly be a torque upgrade. How do they compare to the original 380s or the banebot motors? Is there another reasonably priced upgrade without switching over to brushless?
